Nadia and I spent a lovely morning Plein Aire painting at the Volunteer Park Dahlia Garden in Seattle. I had many little piles of paint mixed from paintings that I just finished, so I challenged myself to do this painting using just the colors that I had. It was fun to be out with so many people enjoying these spectacular flowers.

Plein Aire Painting

About marciashaver
Travel lightly,
You are not traveling for people to see you
Travel expectantly,
Every place you visit is like a surprise package to be opened
Untie the strings with an expectation of high adventure
Travel humbly,
Visit people and places with reverence and respect for their traditions and way of life
Travel with an open mind,
Leave your prejudices at home
Travel with curiosity
It is not how far you go,
But how deeply you go that mines the gold of experience

We love getting your posts Marcia. It reminds us of the meeting in Finisterre at the end of the Camino walk all those years ago.
Fond regards
